W2CXV/150 Special Event Station
Special Event Station W2CXV/150 was active on June 10-11, 2011 during SUNY Oswego Reunion 2011 to commemorate the 150th Anniversary of the founding of what is now known as The State University of New York at Oswego.
QSL (SASE if Stateside) Via AI2N - Redd Swindells 134 E Seneca St. Oswego, NY 13126. The commemorative QSL cards have been printed and the first wave of requests have been fulfilled. There will be no QSL backlog; send in those requests.
W2CVX/150 worked 278 stations overall. This included 41 States, 5 Canadian Provinces and 19 Countries on all continents. We set up "Field Day" style, using a generator for power and a canopy as a shelter. Thanks to all who operated and helped with setup/teardown:
Setup/Teardown: WA2LBE, WA2LBG, W2DRW, KB2AWX, AI2N, AI2N's XYL Susan
Operators: AC2CM, KC2SUL, WB2NVY, KC2PAM (now W2TQF), AK2D, AK2X, AI2N
Thanks also to FARC President WA2AFF and VP KC2SUM who checked in on us to make sure we weren't loafing, and to those who stayed close to their radios, ready to respond if called upon.
